Target group

XPat Media’s target group is the large community of foreign nationals who live and work in the Netherlands, the resident expatriates. The majority of these expats work for international companies and organizations, embassies and consulates. There are also many independent entrepreneurs who have come to the Netherlands to establish businesses, and specialists who have come to the Netherlands to work for Dutch companies on a contract basis, usually for a period of several years.

Large International Community
The number of expatriates in the Netherlands has been increasing over the past years. The positive business climate aimed at encouraging international businesses to settle here and the highly developed infrastructure have contributed to this. Furthermore, the international mobility of employees has increased thanks to the steps taken towards the unification of the European market.
At the moment, there are approximately 200,000 expatriates in the Netherlands.

High income
The average gross income of the expats lies around € 100,000 per year. Foreign employees generally enjoy the benefit of a favorable tax climate (30%-ruling) and are often offered attractive benefits by their employers, resulting in considerable spending power.

Period of stay
The average period of stay for expatriates who come to the Netherlands is 2.5 to 3 years.

Perfect Media Mix

XPat Media offers you a powerful mix of printed publications and an online medium with high quality up-to-date content to attract a wealthy, well-educated community of both individual and corporate expats inside and outside the Netherlands.
